We are fascinated by nuclear technology. We believe that beyond the challenges of decommissioning and waste disposal, there is much more to nuclear technology that is worth exploring for young professionals. We organize various events where we put the broad spectrum of nuclear technology on the agenda. Our annual Nuclear Technology Young Professionals Conference is held for students and recent graduates at different locations each year. This year it will take place in Gösgen.
Presentations and keynotes
Through keynote speeches and presentations, participants have the opportunity to learn about current research fields in nuclear energy and the current industrial situation in German-speaking countries and internationally. You will also have the opportunity to present your own work.
Technical excursion
During the junior researchers' conference, field trips to the Mont Terri rock laboratory and through the Gösgen nuclear power plant will be offered.
Workshops and social activities
The exchange between young professionals and industry stakeholders is our top priority. Therefore, we also offer various social events such as get-togethers and a dinner. We will also be holding a workshop.
